New Delhi: Industry body FICCI has hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement at the World Economic Forum (WEF), Davos, highlighting India’s leadership prowess. “It is a proud moment whenever India’s potential and capabilities are recognised globally. We welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement highlighting India’s leadership prowess at the World Economic Forum,” said Arun Chawla, Director General, FICCI.

“India’s attractiveness amongst global investors is expected to get a further boost with continued commitment of the Indian government towards reforms, ease of doing business and visionary approach towards higher growth and prosperity over the next 25 years. Industry completely supports India’s commitment towards clean, green, sustainable and reliable energy and will work with the government in accomplishing the net zero targets by 2070,” said Chawla.

 “Under PM Modi’s leadership of ‘One Earth, One Health,’ India has not just been able to fight Covid-19 challenge effectively but also helped many other countries of the world through vaccine supplies. Today, the PM has once again shown the way to the world to come together and address various global challenges of current times,” he said.
